Call for Expression of Interest Innovative Ideas for the Sustainable Transition to a Blue Economy
As part of the Blue Ecosystem project, the Institute of Oceanography – Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (HCMR) and VERIMPACT are announcing an open call for the expression of interest of Innovative Ideas from the Greek ecosystem for the Sustainable Transition to Blue Economy, under the initiative called Blue TRAIN Labs.
This call aims to gather innovative ideas and technological solutions focused on improving the monitoring and management of marine resources in Greek coastal regions, the protection, enhancement, and conservation of marine biodiversity and ecosystem services, as well as the restoration of coastal ecosystems.
Selected proposals will benefit from a targeted support process that includes mentoring, access to specialized expertise, the development of strategic partnerships, and funding opportunities. The goal is to accelerate the development, maturation, and implementation of these solutions—enhancing their impact and facilitating their integration into the blue economy ecosystem.
The submission deadline is on September 15, 2025, 17:00 CET.
