Verimpact, a leading provider of ESG and sustainability consulting and training services, in collaboration with the Institute for Sustainable Development - EPLO, and the EU-funded projects, Neuroclima and CoastalPro, successfully organized an informative webinar on Thursday, March 27, 2025, entitled "The Hydrosphere in Focus: Safeguarding Water for a Sustainable Future".

Mr. Frank Schweikert, Board Member, EU Mission Restore our Ocean and Waters, was the webinar’s distinguished guest and keynote speaker, while speakers and moderators of the highly engaging discussions that followed the presentations were Mr. Spyros Kouvelis, Board Member, EU Mission Restore our Ocean and Waters / Director, Institute for Sustainable Development – EPLO, and Ms. Christina Deligianni, CEO, Verimpact / Policy and Programs Director, Institute for Sustainable Development – EPLO.
With the celebration of World Water Day as a starting point for this webinar, and with the agenda in alignment with the UN Ocean Decade Action for Water, the presentations and the participants’ questions that sparked the lively panel discussion on the Hydrosphere’s sustainable management, kept the audience's interest undiminished.
Among other issues, the webinar highlighted the critical role of water in sustaining life on Earth, with water scarcity, pollution, and climate change-related events intensifying globally. The distinguished speakers managed, through their experience and expert knowledge, to raise awareness about the challenges of water preservation and highlight innovative solutions for the protection of the Hydrosphere.
